Department of Internal Medicine What
We Are
A comprehensive array of healthcare services are offered to patients who suffer from a variety of disorders, including diabetes, thyroid problems, bone diseases, and pituitary disorders.

The medical center supports an active MOLLY Diabetes Center for Adults, which caters to both children and adults who suffer from diabetes. Through education, research, and outreach, the program enables patients with diabetes to control their disease so they can achieve a feeling of empowerment, and maximize their quality of life.

Although a sizable portion of their patients suffer from diabetes and thyroid conditions, this versatile group utilizes its expertise to treat problems stemming from all organs of the endocrine system, including the pituitary, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and reproductive glands.

In keeping with the medical center's role as a major teaching hospital, the section is also active in training medical students and medical residents who are interested in learning the newest techniques in diagnosing and treating endocrinological and metabolic disorders.
