Lisa & Michael Babin, Residents of Emerson, New Jersey My name is Lisa Babin. I'm the mother of two amazing boys, Michael, age 7, and Nicholas, age 9. If not for Pascack Valley Hospital, neither Michael nor I would be here today. When I was 39 weeks pregnant with Michael, I had to have an emergency C-section. We almost didn't make it. Thanks to both the location of the hospital and the incredible efforts of their medical team, my son Michael and I beat incredible odds and survived. We are both alive today because of Pascack Valley Hospital. I believe my neighbors deserve that same chance. We must open HUMC at Pascack Valley; the safety and security of our community depend on it.

State Health Commissioner Approves Westwood HospitalO'Dowd approved Hackensack University Medical Center's plan to reopen the former Pascack Valley Hospital as a new 128-bed facility Monday, according to a 14-page letter O'Dowd wrote to HUMC President and CEO Robert Garrett.
