Lifeline Emergency Responders are trained professionals who will get Lifeline subscribers the help they need - whether it's a neighbor, relative, or an ambulance.
What is Lifeline?
The Lifeline Emergency Response Service is provided by Hackensack University Medical Center for individuals in Bergen, Hudson, and parts of Passaic counties who may find themselves in need of assistance and unable to call for help.
When you need help, just press the Personal Help Button you wear as a pendant or on a wristband.
Who Will Come to Help?
Within seconds, your call will be answered by one of our caring, highly trained professionals. We will get you the help you need - whether it is a helping hand from a neighbor or an ambulance.
Each Lifeline subscriber has a list of responders on file that includes relatives, friends and neighbors who have access to the home. Responders are notified of the need for assistance and sent to the home. If more complex care is required or if no responders are available, police, firefighters and EMS personnel are called to respond.
