The Department of Clinical Virology at Hackensack University Medical Center provides the latest in diagnostic and clinical research services. The medical center's virology program is involved with various database collection agencies not only on a local level, but at a state, national, and even international level, keeping the medical center at the forefront of virology services. The service testing menus in the department are constantly being updated to assure the appropriate prevention and the necessary treatment and management strategies to our patients. The Department of Virology works with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Departments of Health for both New Jersey and New York.
